This government-run scheme is being implemented through the National Bee Board (NBB) , with a total budget of ₹500 crore (FY 2020–21 to 2022–23).
This has now been extended for three more years (2023–24 to 2025–26) , and the remaining ₹370 crore will be used for this extension.
